Alflutop belongs to the group of medications for musculoskeletal system disorders and is used for the treatment of degenerative joint diseases, osteoarthritis, affecting the knees, hips, spine, hands, feet, etc., as well as in convalescence, as an adjunct.

ALFLUTOP injectable solution is approved and marketed as a medication in Romania and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The active substance of ALFLUTOP injectable solution is a bioactive concentrate from small marine fish (10%).

ALFLUTOP injectable solution is a chondroprotector, preventing the destruction of macromolecular structures of normal tissues, stimulating regeneration processes in interstitial tissue and articular cartilage tissue, which explains its analgesic effect. Its anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect on tissues is based on inhibiting the activity of hyaluronidase and normalizing the biosynthesis of hyaluronic acid.

Alflutop injectable solution is administered to adults in degenerative rheumatic diseases: primary and secondary osteoarthritis with various localizations — gonarthrosis, coxarthrosis, interphalangeal arthrosis, as well as in osteochondrosis and spondylosis.
